I don't really mind that the national dex is cut. I only use new pokemon in each gen anyway, but i wont be able to forgive another game filled with kanto pandering. I loved the first gen when I was a kid but I'm over it now.
What about you guys?

Honestly I'm beginning to reach the "acceptance" stage of grief. I'll have to see more of the games to solidify my decicion on whether I'll buy the game or not, but the missing pokemon isn't really the dealbreaker for me in and of itself, only as a symptom of the underlying laziness from game freak.

It's a huge bummer for sure, but in my case it never dissuaded me from buying the games at all. This will be my sister's first Pokemon game since she recently got into the series so it will definitely be a fun experience to play these games alongside her.

All I've seen so far looks promising but should i expect some of gamefreak's usual lazy decisions? Definitely

To be honest I think it makes sense not to have all Pokemon available and I’m surprised it’s been a recurring thing. It would be like all animals being in one country and/or continent but I don’t see any penguins or camels in England bar the zoo.
