those were the worst games in the series. I'm having more fun with pic related right now, which I did not expect at all. It's definately not better than Gens 1 through 4, but its miles ahead of Kalos and the shitstain Unova.

BW and BW2 are where we is game freak pour out their heart and soul before moving on to the mess that was X&Y. The unova region was so well made and the games introduce things like the world tournament, black city and white Forrest, seasons and weather, a long with many other wonderful treats that will only be remembered in those games.

Like yeah guys, maybe you don't like the pokemon from unova, but lets be honest, they game looks good. They really worked on every animation, even then dancing sprites. It was the true jewel of the DS era, and they really put effort into making theses games look amazing.

Unova animations looked like dogshit. The pokemon were robotic and toy-like.
Sinnoh sprites and animations were the peak of the series, Unova was the downfall.

How is that anything but a good thing? Only having one TM in previous games was fucking shitty. There was never I time where I went, "fuck yeah I got the TM for Snarl, now time to teach it to everyone and breeze through the game!"

It was done to casualize the games even more than ge 5 already did from the get go.
TMs should have been limited during the story mode and made unlimited only during the post game, for when people are gearing up for online play.

Say what you will about unova but it was the last game where you go out onto route 1 and it's new Pokemon. And everyone is using new Pokemon. Now it's just oh yeah go out onto route 1 and catch the same Pokemon you've been seeing for the past 20 years. Hey bro you heard about Caterpie? What about pichu? Ratata bro go get that. It's the most recent game that felt like a new experience. Plus bw2 endgame was godlike compared to almost every other games.

Gen 6's issue wasn't too few pokemon, mega evolution was great enough new feature that it didn't matter. Gen 6's issue was NO FUCKING POST-GAME WHATSOEVER, as well as the legendary's just kinda existing with no purpose.
