Lycanroc makes an objectively better shillmon than either Incineroar or Decidueye.

Even Dusk, who takes the more aesthetically pleasing design of Midday, gives it the superior hair of Midnight, while also making him actually usable in battle.

None of the starters were all that interesting this time around. All the more interesting mons were ones like Lycanroc, Mimikyu, Poipole or even Alolan Vulpix.
