Can anyone explain the thought process of "It's going to sell anyway" to me?
What does the fact that people will buy anything with the Pokemon brand on it have to do with the quality?

I think it's more of a lament than anything. I don't want it to sell well, and neither do you, because it encourages them to continue producing games of this quality, but you know it probably will anyway because of brand recognition. It really gets me down.
