I just came back to pokemon after a long pause and see all this hate about the new games. I already now 1 or 2 things about all of this, but can you guys give me a list of all things gamefreak has done?

Is it true that they cant program they games and waste save data by copying every data multiple times and not only making one to direct the code to?

Would really appreciate help from you.
