You don't pay attention to their model when they are afar, and when you start talking to them you just want to get through text boxes asap, once again not paying attention. The splash art is more memorable.

It's almost like this was a method to save on development that worked exactly as they thought it would

Like, people shit on GF for being lazy, but most of their past shit was actually pretty creative and effective measures to save on space and development.

It's just that they clearly aren't pulling that off now that they're trying to do it in full HD on Switch.

They made unique OWs for Male Flare Admin and Gardener (how many times do you fight them in the game) but they fused Veterans, Ace Trainers and Sky Battlers into one, 3 classes that are everywhere in XY. There is no logic.

Not to defend Hitler or anything but you genuinely can barely tell on the 3DS at its native resolution. Sure it's obvious if you blow up and zoom in on the model at 10x the size you'll see it ingame, but until you do that you won't be able to tell.

Because it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

We got hundreds of 3D models for Pokemon, new battle systems, new moves, customization, fully 3D region, etc etc etc

This was fixed in SM when they got a bit more competent.

This fuels the narrative that graphics and new consoles actually hinder GF. Not defending their methods, but it's evident that they're at their best when they work with old tech.

Keep in mind you can't just use any color on the OW. You have to chose between 4 palettes of 16 colors that are shared among all OWs.
