technically Home being for phones, they can use the 3ds models with the 3ds textures and there would be no issue.

Animating is the reason we're not getting the whole dex. Though I think Home will be sprite-based myself I have no doubts that Creatures re-textured and updated every model for Gamefreak. No reason not to future-proof every model's texture now since the enhanced version, and DP remake will use them.

Do we EVER see breeding-related shit this early? Usually it's not even mentioned in pre-release at all outside of a brief mention of the daycare when they're showing off the area that houses it. Or if there's a mechanic that ties into it somehow, like Alolan forms.

I think people are on edge because Masuda mentioned he wished people would breed less during LGPE's press cycle. I hope breeding stays. I'd hate to see all the little moments of hidden depth Pokemon has removed.

Didn't say they'd be capable of moving, ya simp. But GO uses pokémon models, 3DS games use pokémon models, why wouldn't Home use the models?

Why wouldn't SS use all the models? Thing is Masuda said they couldn't do it. Can you image what would happen if Home came out 2 months later and included all the mons Masuda said they couldn't add in the Main game.

Masuda was talking about the animations. Models for older Pokemon have been finished for a long ass time now. They just have to retexture them.

As for breeding, it's certainly still there. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is the Daycare. It's an oddly defined house not in a town on the map that happens to be right on a huge straight path.
That just screams "Breeding" to me. It's similar to the way they did it in XY, with the "longest straight route" right by the Daycare.

Seeing how Alola dumbed down the Day-Care, yes, Breeding is likely gone.

That's what they did with the Dex - first no NatDex in Alola, then mons unobtainable. That's the way GF phases out the features.
