only thing he achieved was making an okay wingull model and programming a path
the flapping animation for the student looks awful and hardly looks better than the "subtle swaying* done by gamefreak
seagulls hovering at a low altitude with random ai pathing is gonna look like shit no matter how you do it
the best solution would be to make the wings spawn from the sky and poke around while standing on the ground and the player would have to sneak up on it otherwise it would fly away
but no that's a lot "harder" than just letting them float awkwardly with shit AI pathing
