Why do people shit on Sun and Moon so much?

I recently replayed gens 4-6 cause I got an itch to play Pokemon when people started talking about Sword and Shield.
Despite not even playing it for years, I still remember way more about and enjoyed Sun & Moon more than the past games. Honestly, I'd say it's my favorite of the games at this point just from the experience of it alone

What is it that makes so many people claim these games are bad?
