(If you look at the galar region map , it looks very linear to me , you begin at the bottom and climb to the top of the map , thats it , sure there will be some lefts and rights and some HM roadblocks but knowing GF , there won't be too many changes from their regular designs) . People are tired of playing as little kids only (as intended for the 5-12 y/o target audience , i get it , but despite my hate for BW for the shitty pokemon design , i loved that I was 16 , afaik they planned to make them more older but didn't) . People are bored that the games have become so easy , just within a few routes from the start of your journey you get like 20+ pokemon(Ev included) and various type coverage making challanges nonexistant. EXP All made the game more easier on top of that . They have introduced raid battle and yet there is no chat or communication method .
I can go on DESU ,But the truth is that they keep making the same game again and again with new coats of paints and polygons because they "think" that this is the safest option. Pokemon is now a multi billion dollar franchise and it is bigger than anything , trust me , some say star wars or whatever (most people in Great Asia (south east asia and everything included) don't even know what's star wars) but none is as big as that red and white ball and the yellow mouse with zigzag tail , maybe the only contestant is the guy with red cape with a big S on his chest , and gamefreak+nintendo knows that the first two generations of pokemon games were passion projects of Satoshi Tajiri and he wanted to end the franchise and Gen 2 , at max Gen 3 but ..well , we all know what happened ..pokemon games are made only for profit now "only" that's it , and i know this sounds insulting to people that are working for this game but that's the truth ....
But yeah ; I believe that people are not angry just for the Nat. Pokedex not being present .
