It helps that King has higher offensive stats and better speed. Queen's bulk is okay, but there are better bulky ground types, and better bulky poison types. There aren't as many mixed threat Ground or Poison types.
It's fun to make the opponent guess whether you're packing a Sheer Force + Life Orb boosted Earth Power, Sludge Wave, Ice Beam, Focus Blast / Surf / T-Bolt / Flame Thrower / HP Coverage

Are you rocking in with a Physical Set to drop Earthquake, Super Power, Head Smash / Poison Jab / Elemental Punches / Outrage.
Really, all it's missing is access to something like Nasty Plot and it'd be one of the best special sweepers in the game thanks to redonculous coverage options.
