I like Turner and I think he designed some solid Pokemon, but gen 8's art direction is the worst yet. It manages to highlight GF's technical ineptitude rather than hiding it.

His design is probably from a japanese designer, yes it's bad and maybe Turner should have this in the game. But Turner is probably just too kind to say No when a designer showed him something.

We know from interviews that the designer of Stunfisk and the jellyfishs from Gen 5, were changed from Sugimori and the initial designer was not happy about the changes. Sugimori changed the designs and types.
