Naturally anecdotes mean little, but where the money comes from aligns with it. Just look at Go, it hasn't even touched Gen 5 yet and it makes far more than the main line games ever could.
And the assumption it will flop means fuck all. Using this board who's entire purpose is to shit on the game regardless of "quality" or lack thereof as a sample size means little. Same with using the loudmouths on Twitter and YouTube. People don't run to Twitter to talk about good things (unless they're prominent in the community), so pointing at Twitter and going "See they're mad" doesn't change anything, especially considering it's safe to say most of the people, both on Twitter as well as here, are likely going to buy the games anyway.
Sorry to break it to you, our 60 dollars are a drop in the bucket compared to what everything else makes.
