Even if Sword & Shield had all Pokemon it still wouldn't mean much if the postgame and online are still shit.
Whats the point of having them all, when you can't do anything with them?

I don't give a shit about having all the pokemon if there's nothing to do with all the pokemon. ORAS removing the BF was worse than this.

but as it stands, it's shaping up to be another XY and have one shitty little postgame story that 99% of players won't even find and another battle tower clone.

It's true. This is just going to be another gen of piss easy campaign (possibly with a forced exp share) that people will breeze through to start sinking countless wasted hours into a biking sim to beat one battle facility
