If I can't turn the Exp. Share off in Sword and Shield, I'm not getting the game. It ruined Let's Go for me because it made the game trivial and boring. This is a bigger deal breaker than the missing Pokemon for me.

Bro, every pokemon game can easily be beaten with 1 or 2 pokemon. The exp share can't kill the difficulty when there is none to begin with, it just saves time.

I don't understand why you would even think the LG experience system will be used in a mainline pokemon game at all. You'll be able to equip and unequip an exp. share like in all of the other ones.

You cant turn off exp share, BUT The game is balanced in a way that enemy pokes levels get really high by the end.
Also less exp for party members so you still need to rotate mons for balanced levels
