Considering not all gen 1 mons (and Alolan forms) got this, do you suppose that the ones with updated party sprites will be in Galar? Because as far as a the Kanto lineup goes I'd be happy with this. The biggest loss here is Alolan marowak.

i thought this would be the case, but then again butterfree, ninetales, dugtrio didnt got updated sprites and yet they are confirmed to be in the galar dex

Not really. Probably they updated some sprites to use them in Home. Or they didn't have time to update all sprites in LGPE and these Pokémon that >>39123265 said will have new sprites in SwSh

There's a good chance that all pokemon have new party sprites and home is likely to use them, from the trailer, I noticed that first stage pokemon icons appear to be a lot smaller than usual.
