>>39123728/an/ here, I might be able to provide some insight. How do they survive in their native ecosystem (which I presume to be coastal waters)? I'm assuming that:
>Boomistar is a bottom-feeder like normal sea stars, has horrendous speed, and as such primarily feeds upon dead Pokemon on the seafloor>Boulackey does more of the same, probably>Captstar glides around above the water, wraps itself around seabirds like Wingull and Pelipper, and plunges with them into the ocean to drown and eat themWith this in mind, Boomistar's second mouth is completely useless. There's no reason for it to be there. Sea stars have mouths on their undersides (see pic), which you nailed with Boulackey and Captstar, but fucked up with Boomistar.
Additionally, I love the spikes on Captstar, as it's actually reminiscent of a few real-life sea stars, like Protoreaster nodosus.
Overall, good design. I like the concept.
