>>39136046Not necessarily. If the country that pokemon is set in is as large as Canada/USA, you can easily have extremely ecologically and topologically varied regions. Not to mention that flying from one corner of Canada to the other is as far as flying internationally on many other continents.
It's possible that the pokemon world, or at the very least every region we have visited, is all a part of one very large country.
