Look at the fucking designs. Look at them. They fucking hurt to look at. You want to know why they're neglected? They're all monotype shitters. The only other region to have two or more monotype shitters was Unova, and that gets the hate it deserves too. They fucking suck at battling. It's no wonder Hoenn got mega evolutions and they didn't. These look like they were designed in paint for two hours. Meganium is just a cartoon fucking dinosaur. Except... it has antennae. And a flower around its neck. COULD NOT be any more fucking bland if it were a green Charizard, which is just a fucking orange dragon. Typhlosion is just a skinny Snorlax with a fire mane. Feraligatr is a bipedal gator. Of course Feraligatr is the best design by far out of the three abortions and it got cucked 3 times by Gyarados. They can't battle for shit, they look like shit, and no one likes them. This is why they're neglected. No one would pick Typhlosion over Charizard. No one would pick Meganium over Venusaur. They look cooler? What the fuck is wrong with you? They're atrocities.

I think during battle. When I picked Chikorita I was thinking about how long it would take before I could box that piece of shit. It doesn't even learn leech seed on its own, what a sorry excuse for a starter. It was replaced with Bellsprout by the second town.

You say that overall the Typhlosion line was on Jimmy (Gold/Ethan Stand in) in the Legend of Thunder, Gold chose it in Adventures, HGSS arc of the anime had heavy Cyndaquil advertising with Dawn getting one and Ash's suddenly evolving out of nowhere, and whenever Feraligatr showed up in the anime it was beaten up by Pikachu, Genesect, Snorlax, etc.
