Yo, Conflicted memories here so asking for clarification.
I clearly remember Pokemon RB having only single types, With dual types added in the second Gen (Which I didn't play on release) and I also clearly remember Gyrados evolving into a dragon type from Magikarp's Water Type, because I was so devastated when I got back into Pokemon in Gen3 with Ruby Sapphire and Gyrados was changed into Water Flying.
