>>39140398Honestly Kommo-o would be really lame is it was just another generic dragon. Not only did they branch out quite a bit with it, but Kommo-o, for better or worse, stands out amongst the crowd of generic Dragon Types by embracing and fully utilizing it's two other main qualities: the Fighting type (it's designed as a proud tribal warrior, complete with scales for armor, facepaint and weapons) and the sound quality (it's got the soundproof ability and learns a decent amount of sound moves such as Echoed/Hyper Voice, Noble Roar, Screech, Roar, Snore and Uproar, but mostly Clanging Scales, which is also a fantastic way to tie in it's main design to it's signature move).
I can understand it's not a design that'd appeal to everyone but I truly love how they went all in with him and pushed the Tribal Warrior/Sound aspect all the way to the top with him. We already have a lot of typical dragons that are just dragons, even Hydras and Snail-Dragons from france. You have to admit whether you like it or not Kommo-o is something that's both original and stands out amongst it's peers, and while I love the design I can totally get why it's not something a lot of people would typically like.
I think he's my favorite psuedo at this point too, since the others are either useless or obnoxiously overpowered while he sits square in the middle between strong and weak.
