And every generation, the same number of pokemon will be included, meaning a smaller and smaller percentage, with kanto's dex and the new region's dex being permanent inclusions that give other pokemon even less and less of a chance. They'll 'still be part of the franchise', but they won't be in a game again. Give it a few years, and GO will be the only game that connects to Home and has every pokemon.
