I actually have four copies on preorder. I intend to play Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, but I have additional copies that I'd like to display in my collection. I only hope they learned their lesson from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and make the third game a singular game instead of two, because having to buy an additional four copies when the third games come out is a heavy investment for me.

I am not phased by the pokedex cut, I can live without every pokemon. Fags acting like half the game's content is lost because the developers didn't make new animations for Wurmple and Sentret are missing out on the greatest games to come to this franchise

gf said they put a lot of focus on what pokemon should be in the game. and i'm assuming they have a focus on competitive as well. There is a chance they could actually pull it off and thats what I'm hoping for. but i'll probably be dissapoint
