i think by "unique animations" gamefreak means the pokemon refresh/pokemon amie, just look at around 20 - 30 seconds in the dynamax trailer theres a brief moment of sobble running around in a sorta amie type area, and then having a facial expression. i don't think they mean battle animations...so i think we might be mad about the wrong things sorta. if theres anything to be a bit annoyed about its that if this is true (time will tell if we see a new pokemon amie) that means: gamefreak thinks pokemon amie is more important than battle animations and having all the pokemon in the games. probably because "bonding with your pokemon" but i think a truly better way to bond with your pokemon is to bring them to the newer games and just have them there. so uh i guess the question is do you guys think this is plausible? im not defending them, if this IS true then i really don't think it should be top priority...but im just saying are we angry about the wrong thing?
