There is a nice present at Mt. Battle if you wanna keep playing and grinding.
In GoD, you can get an Eevelution as your starter, so if you haven't tried them all yet, I recommend you breed your eevee from Fire Red and evolve them so you can have an idea of how they are, their stats and moves.
The game is a bit harder while using some of them, but at least you know how umbreon and espeon are.
GoD is longer, has more pokemon and requires more grinding, but the last location is priceless.
By the way, if you come across some pokemon you don't know or you have always wanted to try, purify them manually as gen 4 has lots of those raremons.
Lastly, please go easy on my waifu Lovrina. She is So cute but their pokemon are oh So shit.
