You know during gen 7 leak season, when UBs were shown and people came up with all sorts of theories, about Team Skull and Aether as well, and everyone came together to try and decipher gen 7's seemingly amazing and deep plot? Hundreds of threads of anons working together to work on theories, only for gen 7 to end up as a mommy issues simulator.. anyhow, I really liked those months of group theorizing and everyone getting so excited when somebody made a connection that seemed plausible.

I think a lot of /vp/ could benefit from trying out the base-neo era of the tcg, it's honestly a really wild era in the game, the likes of which we may never see again.
Me and my friends recently found our old base-neo era collection and decided to try learning how to play, needless to say it's been pretty wild! I'm looking around online right now trying to find some decks to buy, but all I'm getting is a lot of hype for the new double dare hyper rare cards, they seem bland to me though.
Any recommendations on a deck to buy? I'd prefer to stay in the based-neo era of cards, Wizards really knew what they were doing compared to Game Freak.

Believe it or not, our fetishfriends dont really bother me as they're something you'd expect from a franchise with purposely attractive people and pokemon. Plus they can be ignored. Even starter/genwars are made because there is nothing to really too about here. So I feel that the only problems are that it's too slow and filled to the brim switchboard tourists during leak season. Even then, having a faster board would probably drop the bare minimum quality here and turning this play into another /v/ or /tv/ is certainly a risk that isn't worth taking
