>>39171860Adults typically don't watch Pokémon regularly because it's a series for kids and just because you can appreciate how well it's put together, it doesn't mean that you're the intended audience or need to watch it. Animation enthusiasts might watch the odd episode without specifically going to it for an animation reason and still come out with several well animated scenes on average. Look no farther than sakugabooru whose users catalog animation from various series and categorize them based on numerous factors including the actual animators.
The fact that Sun and Moon has impressive animation scattered throughout despite being a series made for a demographic that won't necessarily notice or appreciate it makes it more admirable than previous Pokémon anime series that didn't even have that. Yes, XY was a major jump up from BW, which was a jump up from DP, which was a jump up from AG, etc. But SM is a jump up from XY in terms of production and it produces more consistently impressive cuts on average than your typical seasonal series WHILE being an ongoing indefinite series without breaks. That is impressive.
You can brag about how better you are as an illiterate special school dropout vs someone with a Ph.D. but that doesn't change the fact that it's like a retard arguing that they know more than a professional.
