So hadn't touched a game since Peal/Diamond came out and recently decided to get back into the franchise with SS/HG as the originals were my fav as a kid.

Just defeated blue, getting my picture taken with my waifu bugsy and pretty much done everything else aside from defeat red and capture the legendary's. As this is the closest I've ever gotten to actually completing one of the games I'm happy to call it a day.

Anyway I'm moving onto Platinum now and wondered if there was anythign glaringly different I should know about in terms of mechanics. I barely remember my playthrough of Pearl.

Also team recommendations? Should I do a semi Nuzlocke and only capture the first pokemon I find in each route?

Also what's up with this new game everyones talking about? Some mobile competitor to the new Switch games? Is it just like a battle royale or what?
