>>39180142>And if that's gone? Poof, goes your chances.Except that's not true at all. Unless you're using multiple Rock weaks or something games are far from an instant loss just because you let your Spinner/Defogger die. You're at a disadvantage, sure, but it's no bigger than if you e.g. let your EQ switch-in die against a team with Garchomp. And if you're stacking multiple Rock weaks and you played carelessly with your Spinner/Defogger, you deserve to lose.
>And there's only two-three ways to counter it, maybe five ways to "deal with it"So? You don't need 10 different varieties of Defog when Defog can already be learned by tons of Pokemon.
>Utterly false, absolutely pathetic. You get at least ten ways to cope with it, almost none of which are useless outside their intended purpose like Rapid Spin and Defog with Evasion ban are.Complete nonsense. Outside of the weather reliant moves, perfect accuracy moves are simply too weak to be a legitimate counter to evasion.
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Aerial Ace vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 77-90 (23 - 26.9%) -- 42.8% chance to 4HKO
Z-moves can help, sure, but that's a one-time use and you still have 5 more evasion Pokemon to deal with. No Guard/Unaware only helps if that Pokemon actually has the moveset to beat whatever the evasion Pokemon is. Weather is probably your best bet but even then there are some Pokemon that are simply impossible to muscle past when your options are so limited.
252+ SpA Life Orb Yveltal Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Steelix-Mega: 105-125 (29.6 - 35.3%) -- 17.8% chance to 3HKO
Haze/Clear Smog has the same problem as No Guard and Unaware. Roar/Whirlwind can be countered by Taunt and Magic Bounce. Toxic/T-Spikes are countered by Steel types, Poison types, Pokemon that are already statused, and Levitators/Flyers in the case of T-Spikes.
Remember that in order for an evasion team to win, they only need to have one Pokemon that you can't touch. That isn't hard to accomplish.
