I get that USUM were lazy compared to B2W2, but they're still better than shit like Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum in amount of new content, so I don't think they deserve to be bottom tier if you liked SM. I rate third versions the same as base games because they're basically the same game, but all third versions except B2W2 are honestly F-tier for being literal romhacks.

Black 2/White 2 are better because it’s a real sequel to Black/White and adds more gameplay features that just adds a whole list on. Adding Pokémon from the previous generations doesn’t mean anything to me and I still used a team that focused entirely on Unova mons as I did before.
X/Y are heavily underrated, underdeveloped, and unappreciative. Ultimately, X/Y is “what could’ve been” and is the first sign of GameFreak’s downfall.
ΩR/αS are better than Ruby/Sapphire. The lack of a Battle Frontier was the second sign of GameFreak’s downfall.
Sun/Moon was a beta test and it makes me mad to this day. Sun/Moon is also the third sign of GameFreak’s downfall.
If you haven’t played Sun/Moon, skip it and buy UltraSun/UltraMoon. You’re not missing much unless you care so much about Lusamine.

My first game was Silver actually, so no. FireRed was an incredibly boring and empty game, and the Sinnoh dex was so ugly I didn't want to make a team with any of those abominations but I still had to and hated whenever I had to see those shits on screen, besides the game itself felt awful to play.
X may be full of flaws, I know that, but it was still an incredibly fun game with a lot to do, I enjoyed every second playing it.

Looking through this thread and I don't get why people like BW2 so much. It's such a chore to play for me and there's almost no cool pokemon until you are almost 4-5 gyms in.
I literally always quit at the 4th gym because it takes so long to get types I like to use so I guess I should ask: does it ever stop bombarding you with cutscenes and dumb shit like pokestar studio? I can deal with the dumb zoom ins during battle, the shitty early game mons, the shitty starters, and the awful no vs. seeker grinding, but all this WITH the cutscenes and dumb shit wear me down.
It's a shame because the few really cool pokemon I never get to because of all this shit.

This so fucking much. Both B/W and the sequels are painful to get through, the art style makes everything look awful in the overworld with all the black lines, barely any of the cities are memorable and all the legendary mons are crap.

-Even though USUM is the "updated" version of Alola, it completely failed to meet up to expectations and thus is shit, same deal with ORAS, though ORAS is an okay game just a shit remake.
