>>39182792I feel your pain about where the franchise is going but more importantly where this board is going. I know that every time I make a thread, there's at least one retard who's trying to change the subject to be about the national dex or some waifufaggotry or pokephilia. It's frustrating, but I think what would be best is if you left this board: like it or not, this /vp/ is not the /vp/ you once enjoyed nor will it ever be again. If you must stay here, though, consider finding a source of consistency: make threads that are similar to each other but varied enough for the subject to feel fresh.
>>39182803I think you'd benefit even more from realizing what I previously said: this /vp/ is not nor will ever be the /vp/ you once enjoyed. While it is appealing to stay, it'd be best to leave because, at this point, you're not staying on a good version of /vp/: you're staying on the version of /vp/ that's full of shitposters and genwars, Nu-/vp/. If you must stay, however, consider attempting to remake some of the threads you hold so fondly in your heart.
>>39182832You seem to be suffering from what seemingly everyone in this thread coming to vent is suffering from: the side-effects of nu-/vp/. Gone are the days of Garyposting and Smugleaf and stream/playthrough threads. Now, /vp/'s all about being the most vocal ever: if you're not obnoxious enough, your opinion will be snuffed out, but on the other hand if you are obnoxious, everyone will hate your opinion. The board's quality is directly proportional to the game's quality, so if you dislike the current games, chances are you'll dislike how the current board looks. Consider taking a break, as /vp/ in 2019 is not the /vp/ you used to love.
