>>39186614It's not about how Venusaur moves, it's showing it's body structure. It always had a squat, flat body with stubbier front legs and long bent hindlegs that fold up underneath it. These are the traits that most frogs or toads have, and arguably Venusaur is more of a toad since it's more of a land animal than semi-aquatic and has warty skin.
Swampert is a mud puppy/mudskipper/lungfish. And that animation isn't him walking, it's him running.
