>>39187223Honestly, so are a good number of Pokemon. I tend to become attached to a mon after using it in battle for a while anyway, and learn to find what I love about its design and concept, so I'm not too worried.
Shuckle doesn't really have anything going for it if you don't know how it fights, but use it right in Triples and you'll love it for its dumb little face and docile appearance while it trolls a whole enemy team. Back when I was a kid and played Yellow, I got the impression of Sandslash being some kind of amazing, precision killer from the way its Slashes always critted. I think it's nice to give everything a chance to grow on you and have some kind of personality for each form in your imagination.
