Imagine a big, AAA major multiplayer game releasing and for the devs to come out and tell everyone, to their faces, that they are cutting most content from previous releases and they have no intention of patching in any content post launch, and if you don't like it just wait for next year's game and maybe they'll bring back something.

Would Call of Duty players mind this? Would EA Sports players? Would Zelda? Halo? I can't think of another game that's launched with heavy multiplayer focus and didn't receive any updates post launch at all. Why are Pokemon fans such cucks?
