So... aside from the current shitshow that is the graphics and Dex, is there anything new in the game you're actually excited for? I like the idea of more open field areas!

I like the new pokemon, hopefully if a new mystery dungeon is actually being made they get added to it. That would be a good reason as to why we haven't gotten a game yet.

On the map, thoughout the videos you can see where all the wild area shots takes place, and considering the size of it, there is no space on the map for another wild area.
And iirc, they also talked about the wild area connecting various cities(and there is only 1 space for it), without to mention that wild area is always talked about in singular.
I really wanted a forest wild area and a mountaineous wild area, but if they did, there would be landmarks on the map.

It depends on what you consider an open field area. There were routes before that were quite sizeable, and it connected more than just two places.
