The gameplay and features of this game look so good, but the monster designs are so bad. They should have just stolen the Pokemon Sage Dex or something.
Being exclusively MMO is also bothering. I hope they make a single player mode at some point.

I remember listening to an interview, that mentioned they were going to have 2 save files, one local, to play offline for your own so you could play with your own rules (nuzlock style and other stuff) and one online mode.
With the intention of balancing breeding and the game economy.
If that have changed I dont know.

I'm still on the fence about it, but it looks more fun than pokemon sword/shield and is cheaper, so I might get it. I personally like the aspect of capture cards instead of balls, but that's literally just an aesthetic change. To me, it looks like a combination between Persona and Pokemon rather than just a pokemon ripoff.
