Except X and Y used the 3DS to its advantage and it was the first time Gamefreak used 3D unlike Sword and Shield that just looks like a budget N64 game.

Many of the animations in SwoShi were copy pasted from X and Y FFS

Shitty Raids that unlock Pokemon's for you to catch in the wild wheb they should just be there?
Seeing people in the outworld which is just a cosmetic gimmick and brings nothing to the table in terms of gameplay.
At least Xy had triple battles/rotation and a battle maison even if it wasn't much.
Also only generation that didn't try to jew us for a 3rd version.

2.The reason pokemon were cut was for "graphical improvements" but it looks like a gamecube game running in dolphin
3.This is the year 2019 free patches can add new content to a game yet gamefreak will most likely ignore that, like how USM could've been DLC

It did, Z version was planned but got cancelled because TPC was scared of Yo-Kai Watch because it was kicking Gen 6's ass

They tried to, they just knew it wouldn’t work. The backlash was too strong that they scrapped everything for the in-dev Z version and brought it to Gen 7. The Zygarde forms and Ultra Beasts were gonna be some of the only differences.

I was so confused when I got to an important looking cave where Zygarde was just chilling out. I'd never heard of Zygarde at all, and there was nothing else explaining him, the ghost girl, or the train station. What sucks is that I would have loved to have them expand upon it

But he's deeply tied to the lore because he's the one that resurrected the three roaming legends from the burned tower. While Zygarde literally has no connection to the lore in S/M.

Every Pokemon game has this kind of stuff. It's like people said Emerald or Crystal are incomplete because of the abandoned ship or the graffiti in Celadon Superstore's roof. Although the Zygarde part was obviously going to be improved for Pokemon Z like how they did with Rayquaza and Giratina, I don't think most other places in the game suffered the same path.

Overall, the games were cool, although they weren't as good as what gen V did, and people didn't give them a really good chance. They are far from perfect games, but they aren't cutscene nightmares or boring regions, and they tried to keep most things intact.
