If you look at it as a spin-off, it's definitely a good game. The game looks clean, and no wild battles make for a pretty fun and casual experience. It's a good side-game to play while you're doing something else or watching something.

Who cares, it's not a mainline game. Those Pokepark Wii games (which were actually pretty ok) were clearly made and marketed for children, and no one cared. Why did this cause such a shitstorm?
