Back during XY, Naruto aired after Pokemon. The anime general would livewatch the two shows that aired BEFORE Pokemon, Aikatsu and Tamagotchi/Cocotama, both of which were slice of life shows, then turn off the stream when Naruto started because nobody cared about it.
Yet shitters would still go on and on about how "XY is for Narutards and SM is for mature slice of life fans", despite the SM fanbase in those threads were constantly bitching about how terrible those two other shows were and how "only autistic XYfags like them".
And now you have the SMtards going "SM has good animation, just like Naruto".
