Feels like a good time because if they approach their other series with the shit skills they've constantly displayed, their games will be mediocre at best and without the Pokemon brand floating it they'll flop. So every avenue they take will end in failure and they'll be stuck with an ugly behemoth they no longer want.

They’re not prioritizing original games . They’re just letting small groups of people develop games that aren’t pokemon. It’s a way for their newbies to get practice
