yes, it is.
it's simple and straightforward, perfect for the tutorial stage of the game, yet it teaches you everything you need to know

>ledges can be jumped
>some objects are obstacles you can't walk through
aside from surfing, this route teaches you everything you need to know about navigating the games without being confusing or overwhelming
