What do people get out of:

>Calling people whiney/entitled
>Making up excuses for why a $90,000,000,000 franchise doesn't have enough excess money
>Getting upset at those who are unhappy with the games as they've been presented
>Saying "You'll buy it anyway" as a way to insult those with grievances
>Wanting to silence those who take issue with the games
>Ignoring flaws
>Dismissing proof that it would be relatively easy to make every Pokemon available
>Dismissing their poor coding/optimization
>Taking their word on a vague, unguaranteed future
>Defending feature removal
>Defending Masuda dismissing the entire fanbase
I genuinely want to know
What do defenders get out of all this?
Why do they often talk down to people or try to shut others up?
We all love Pokemon
That's why so many people are upset with this stuff and are rallying against it
