But of course, in a perfect world GF wouldn't be incompetent with a smaller dex. The correct path would be to make a smaller dex available but give each Pokemon more life, more personality . Give them the ability to follow you around. Things like finding a Heracross sucking on a tree or something that would make he world feel more lived in. Which we all know GF would never do because Please understand.
A smaller dex would be okay, if we got something in return for it. Instead GF uses their "Futureproofed" models, with 3DS animations, cuts the dex in half and calls it a day.
