Oras are the worst remakes aside LGPE which is just a mobile game extension.

Unlike other remakes Oras didnt implement any emerald features like rematching gym leaders and upgrading their teams. so we stuck with the shitty ruby and saphire ones.

Also the lack of frontier is a travesty.

Ruby and Saphire were criticized a lot without Emerald saving its reputation they would be looked at like absolute turd.
XY and SM are the best vanilla versions of any Pokemon games. Yet get shit on endlessly.

OrAs despite the retarded decisions holding it back was the only one that wasn't painful to replay, also the community during that time was very active.XY was just boring in general. SM was god awful and the few things it did well were surpassed by USM

I say X and Y, they had a comfy region with great Pokemon designs and a somewhat acceptable story. I enjoyed ORAS but the mega evolution tie-in felt forced and replaved much of what made Emerald a good game. USUM changed the formula too much, Totems were somewhat challenging but ultimately not something I enjoyed, Ultra beasts are dumb in concept and most are shit in design. USUM made characters taller and made the game feel smaller, and awkward to play.

I genuinely enjoyed SM the most out of any of the other 3DS games, even though now I have to come to terms with how woefully unfinished it was, and how USUM, while technically better games, not only failed to add the blatantly missing features, but also removed the best parts of the original versions >>39214753
