I recently nicknamed my shiny Gyarados from crystal Kaiser, which is a play off of Akai(red colored) and Kaiser Sea horse from yugayhoe. A female skarmory nicknamed Cutlass. A female forretress named Pinky that has attract, headbutt, strength boosted by the gen 2 only Pink bow. A golduck named Gemini because it has a gem for a third eye. (I used this name for Sableye in a different game)
Nicknaming is one of the best parts i’ll sometimes spend half the game finalizing or second guessing a nickname if i don’t like it.
