I have no doubt in their ability to make dynamax some kind of scaled up power such that even the weakest Pokemon and the strongest Pokemon are on equal footing. The problem then is that it only lasts 3 turns. 3 glorious turns where your Butterfree can go toe to toe with a Salamence, and....then what? There's still no reason to have a weaker Pokemon on your team if it will be worthless when those three turns are up.

yup. it's not like they had some kind of system that would let a, oh, beedrill fit into a team by giving it a special held item, like the soul dew for the latis or something like that to raise the stats. something like that also wouldn't let it freely manipulate the weather and terrain either, just to further fuck with battles into a new meta of weather wars.

Nice thing about megas was that some pokemon could actually get bumped up to relevance thanks to them

-any uber legendary who was irrelevant to balance anyway
-Salamence
-Gengar
-Alakazam
-fucking nothing else
Think about it. Ttar can run mega but that's only even remotely useful as a for dragon dance and that's ONLY because of the extra 10 speed. Regular Ttar sees more usage. Mega Garchomp is straight up WORSE than regular Garchomp. Gyarados and Mega Gyarados are both equally good and do slightly different things.
Nah, this idea is fucking stupid. Megas were absolutely fine and only shitter whiny babies think they were OP.
