having downloaded stadium last night specifically because of these threads, i can safely say the meme is exaggerated. There are plently of cherrypickable move animations for mons that do nothing.
While the idle animations are phenomenal and the fainting animations are for the most part oozing with personality. A lot of move animations are still pretty damn boring and generic.
