Imagine what another Triple A studio could do with a mainline pokemon game.
GF had 3 years to make sword and shield and reused every Model and animation so the workload was essentially just the new region, the story and the new pokemon. I seriously can't understand were their time went.

I'm pretty sure the Wingul clips are just to show that Wingul does indeed flap it's wings.
But that animation was what Joe was fawning over... so if it's just repurpsed from somewhere else that would blow up his spot a bit.

That was fixed in the Torna Expansion.
SMO and BotW also have awful scaling resolutions that go down to 480p in handheld mode but no one seems to talk about that, huh.
