Yes they look cool. Bulbasaur is 2'4", Charmander is 2'0", and Squirtle is 1'8". Charizard and Blastoise are manlets at 5'7" and 5'3", respectively. Venusaur is the only one above 6' -- and the only one that gets even larger when it Mega Evolves (the Mega is 7'10").
I think the problem is that when grouped together as toys/plushes, TPCi tries to keep the starters the same size, so the the top of Bulbasaur's bulb is usually the same height as Charmander and Squirtle's heads.

I'm mostly surprised that Porygon got a figure. It isn't special like Mew or Mewtwo, and it wasn't a part of Red, Green or Blue's teams. I'm not complaining though because it is my favorite kanto mon
