Lord knows I'm not gonna go buy a Switch just for SwSh, especially given what's been shown of it thus far. Not worth the money in any way, shape, or form, especially when I already own a phone, like everyone else.

it does say items, not characters or pokemon. mobas and the new hotshit battle royale type games are also generally free to start. not defending it, just hard to know. that one matching game on the 3ds has items available for purchase and is free to start, you just have to beat a stage for the chance to get the pokemon.

hm. alright. just see how deep the gacha goes. it also says you can't possess the same trainer and pokemon more than once, so I'd hope that obtaining a copy is either impossible or gives you currency to buy what you want if given enough repeats.

The Pokemon Company are wealthy to the point that ending their deal with Nintendo won't be so difficult. At best they would just let Nintendo keep Game Freak because they are worthless.

I think Masters will be more successful, not only for being a freemium gatcha game, but having a steady line of updates, while I imagine everyone will drop Sword & Shield after a month or two, like LGPE.
